Osagie Imasogie

Osagie Imasogie, Esq. co-founded the Private Equity Firm, PIPV Capital in 2004 and serves as its Senior Managing Partner. Mr. Imasogie is a Business Executive, Serial Entrepreneur and Attorney with over 35 years of extensive professional experience in the fields of law, finance and business management, healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. He was a Price Waterhouse Corporate Finance Partner and held senior executive positions in several large pharmaceutical companies such as DuPont Merck, SmithKline and GlaxoSmithKline.

Mr. Imasogie is a Board Member of Haverford Trust Co. that manages over $7 Billion in assets and the Beltraith companies which have a combined $1.8 Billion in assets under management.

Osagie is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and Chairman of the University’s Budget & Finance Committee. Osagie also serves on the Board of Overseers of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Osagie is the 2008 recipient of the Penn Law School Alumni Award of Merit.
In addition, Osagie serves on the Board of a number of non-for-profit organizations and institutions such as the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Osagie also served as a Senior Consultant to the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (“PEPFAR”), a unique initiative by the United States Government to have a direct, positive impact in the fight against the global AIDS epidemic by committing, currently, over USD 48 billion and a multifaceted approach to combating HIV/AIDS on a worldwide basis.

Osagie holds post-graduate degrees from the London School of Economics and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and is a member of the New York State Bar. In addition, Osagie is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School where he teaches a seminar on “Intellectual Property and National Economic Value Creation.”
